Windows Phone 7 vs. iPhone 4

In a press conference, Microsoft CEO Steve Balmer officially unveiled its new phone Windows 7 operating system for mobile devices, along with nine smart phones from different manufacturers will launch the software.

Along with Android devices, smartphones with Windows Phone 7 will be one of the biggest competitors of the iPhone 4 iOS running, so how do you compare the new devices enormously popular iPhone from Apple?

Multitasking
Windows 7 is not compatible with multiple tasks to start, a feature that users always iOS expected. As he did with IOS, however, multitasking can find its way into the Windows Device in a future update.

Multimedia
Windows 7 Phone users will use Microsoft Zune media player for music and movies, and Zune PC software to sync media to your phone. This competes with the iPod users love iOS exceptional application and the iTunes software for Mac and PC - defects aside - does a good job of syncing everything we want for our iPhones.

Flash
I’m sure you’ll already be aware that the iPhone doesn’t support Adobe’s Flash player, and to begin with, Windows Phone 7 won’t either.

Camera
The implementation of the IOS is the ideal camera to take quick snaps while on the move, which can then be synchronized with your computer, send to your friends via email or MMS, or upload to your MobileMe gallery. Windows 7 has an "image Hub", which, like the camera roll in Ios, houses your entire collection of images in one place. And it synchronizes with the PC and send them to your friends, you can upload your photos directly to Facebook or Windows Live.

Apps & Games
Of course, Microsoft has its own App Store for Windows 7 device, called "Marketplace." Only time will tell whether the market will become as popular as the App Store in terms of number of quality applications and games available, but the big name like EA developers have already committed to developing games for Win7 devices. And with integrated Xbox Live online gaming is certainly the right way.

Microsoft has its own built-in Office applications, including mobile versions of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote. Although no applications for the Apple iPhone IOS office, there are plenty of office suites available to third parties.

Conclusion
As a big fan of the iPhone and the IOS, I hate to admit that Windows Phone 7 looks pretty impressive. Compared with its predecessors, Windows Mobile, is a great improvement, the software looks clean, intuitive and very pleasant to use. But at this point is difficult to say if they are not nearly as good as the IOS. The same applies to hardware, some devices will launch Windows 7 phone search features that offer very large and many people are missing in the iPhone, like a physical keyboard. However, none of them seem to beat the iPhone 4, and are nowhere near as beautiful.
